2. What we use today

- Optional guest allergen filter selections (session or local storage)
- Theme or UI preferences where enabled

These technologies are necessary for core functionality. Without them, sign-in, menu personalization, or filter state may not work correctly.
3. What we do not use at launch
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing data to ad networks. We do not deploy social-media tracking pixels on guest menus at launch.

Product analytics for restaurant operators are collected through our own platform when guests interact with published menus. If we introduce additional analytics cookies on the marketing site, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent before enabling them.
5. Third-party authentication
If you sign in with Google or another identity provider, that provider may set its own cookies subject to its privacy policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of HeyCarta from working. To clear guest allergen filters, use your browser's site data controls for the menu URL you visited.
